Marietta had a crisis management center and a crisis management team, but it did not have an application to help them visualize and manage an event.

An ArcGIS Server 10 application was built that included an incident tracker widget/module that allows many users to update event information real time and for that information to be seen and interacted with by both the people in the crisis management center, as well as those out in the field.

This resulted in better communication and operational awareness. It allows everyone on the crisis management team to be on the same page so that they are able to manage and deploy city resources more effectively and efficiently.
